Welcome to Ru O. Studio! I’m so happy you’re here! This is my little corner of the internet where I’m able to explore and share my love for creating.
I was born in the north of Mexico in a house filled with a lot of art and a lot of pets!
Growing up, I was one of those stereotypical artsy girls with colorful class notes and even more colorful hair.
After graduating from college with a bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine and zootechnics, I immediately (literally the next day) I moved to the US with my then boyfriend, now husband.
With the freedom of graduating, I was able to show my love for animals through art.
I started painting pets for fun, and it quickly grew into selling commissions out of our little apartment.
I am extremely excited to get to do what I love the most, and I’m grateful that my portraits have brought big smiles & happy tears to so many people.
